Our entire global community has been praying for the victims and community of Congregation Beth Israel in response to this dreadful antisemitic attack. We sympathize and stand with you.
We praise the God of our fathers for the successful escape of the four hostages, the bravery of those who made escape possible, and that this act of terror did not result in any deaths or serious physical injuries to the Jewish people held hostage. We will continue to pray for the emotional, mental, and spiritual healing of those traumatized as well as their families, friends, and the entire synagogue community.
We are praying for a full recovery for the community. We hope the Lord’s sheltering wings will cover you and Jewish congregations everywhere. We also pray that He will empowers each of us with courage and as we face various forms of modern antisemitism. It is our expectation and goal to encourage our brothers and sisters of common conviction will oppose antisemitism, stand with Israel, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
